Balances
Privacy Policy
This policy explains the information used to run Balances and the choices available to you.
Last updated: 26 October 2026
1. Who this policy covers
This policy covers the Balances service at balances.securocloud.in and its account, workspace, and support features. The Balances team operates the service. Contact us at support@securocloud.in. If your access is arranged by a workspace administrator, that administrator also manages your invitation and account access.
2. Information we collect
- Account information: your name, email address, verification status, optional username and profile image, account role, and linked sign-in provider identifiers.
- Workspace records: balance sheets, monthly cycles, people and their optional contact details, categories, amounts, currencies, dates, remarks, and invitations you create.
- Security information: password hashes, sign-in and session records, IP addresses, browser/device information, session timestamps, and the authentication information needed for optional passkeys or two-factor authentication. Passwords are stored as hashes; passkeys store public credential information rather than your device's biometric data.
- Preferences: theme, animation, glass-effect, haptic, and sign-in-method choices.
- Support correspondence: information you choose to include when you contact us.
If you sign in with a provider such as Google, GitHub, or a configured workplace identity provider, we receive the identity details needed to authenticate and link your account, such as your provider identifier, email address, name, and profile image. Provider tokens may be stored to support that connection.
3. How we use information
We use information to create and verify accounts, enforce invitations and access controls, save and display your records, remember preferences, maintain sessions, send requested authentication and account emails, respond to support requests, investigate errors, and protect the service from misuse.
Where a legal basis is required, this processing supports providing the service you request, legitimate interests in operating and securing it, applicable legal obligations, or consent where required. We do not use your ledger entries to serve targeted advertising or sell your personal information.
4. Cookies and browser storage
Authentication cookies keep you signed in and support switching between accounts on the same browser. Browser storage remembers appearance and device preferences. A last-used sign-in method can be remembered to make signing in easier; you can turn this off on the sign-in page. Clearing cookies or browser storage may sign you out and reset these choices.
Third-party identity providers may use their own cookies or browser authentication features when you choose their sign-in options. Their privacy policies apply to their services.
5. Who can receive information
Authorized administrators can inspect user profiles, linked-account metadata, session details, and recorded login events to manage access and security. The admin interface does not display passwords, password hashes, secret authentication codes, or provider access tokens.
Hosting, database, authentication, and transactional-email providers process information needed to deliver the service. For example, requested account emails are delivered through our email service provider, and a sign-in provider processes information when you choose its login option. We may also disclose information when required by applicable law or reasonably necessary to respond to a security incident or protect legal rights.
Service providers may process information in countries other than your own. Where applicable law requires safeguards for international transfers, those requirements apply. Contact us for details about the providers and processing locations used by this deployment.
6. How long information is kept
Account and workspace records are kept while your account is in use or until the relevant records or account are deleted. Sessions have expiry dates and can be revoked. Verification codes and links expire after the period stated in the message. Recorded login events are retained for account security until account deletion or an administrative retention change.
Deleting an account removes its associated application records, credentials, and sessions. Some information may remain in operational logs, backup copies, or support correspondence for a limited period or where required for security, dispute resolution, or applicable law. Contact support for the retention schedule and deletion status relevant to your request.
7. Your choices and requests
You can update available profile information, manage linked sign-in accounts, change preferences, and revoke sessions in Settings. Contact support@securocloud.in to request access, correction, a copy of your information, or account deletion. Depending on the law that applies, you may also have rights to object to processing, restrict it, withdraw consent, or complain to a relevant data-protection authority.
We may verify your identity before fulfilling a request. Administrative protections on superuser accounts prevent direct in-app deletion; a verified support request is the route for arranging any required account transfer or lawful deletion. These protections do not remove rights provided by applicable law.
8. Security and information about other people
We use account access controls and authentication safeguards, but no online service can guarantee complete security. Keep your credentials and recovery codes private, review your active sessions, and report concerns promptly.
Only enter another person's information if you are authorized to do so. Avoid unnecessary sensitive information in names, notes, or attachments. Balances is intended for authorized workspace users and is not designed as a service for children. Contact us if you believe a child has provided personal information without appropriate authorization.
9. Updates and contact
We may update this policy as the service changes. The date above identifies the latest version. Material changes will be communicated through the service or another appropriate channel when required. For questions, visit Contact or email support@securocloud.in.
